• Responsibilities: 

Handling the adverse event cases (AE) reported for a group of Client’s products, where handling means:

1)      Calling reporter to obtain more information on the AE

2)      Registering the reporter’s information in Client’s Medical Information tool

3)      Completing the relevant AE reporting form in English (knowledge of English Medical Terms is required)

4)      Uploading the completed AE form to relevant Client’s Global tool  and Promoting it to Client’s Global AE database

5)      Completing all appropriate local trackers depending on the case

6)      Archiving of all appropriate source documents electronically and in paper

•  Additional activities :

1)      Performing monthly reconciliations for (i) cases sent to Client’s Drug Safety Unit Lead for processing, and (ii) cases received by Client’s local vendor for out-of-working hours.

2)      Short translations, when needed, e.g. in cases of some presentations.

3)      Archiving of all appropriate source documents electronically and in paper (other than AE).

•   Requirements:

1)      Experience in a Pharmacovigilance position (at PV Officer level at least) of 2-5 years is required.

2)      Excellent communication skills are required to manage calls with customers (physicians, pharmacists, patients).

3)      BSc in Health Sciences

4)      MSc should be an advantage.

5)      Fluent in English (knowledge of English Medical Terms is required)

6)      Medium-level skills in using information technology tools/software is required. These include at least Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Power point.
